Application and usage:<\/strong>
\nThe reagent is much less toxic than other organic solvents, is easily removed, has a low cost, so it is widely used in many industries, including the food industry and pharmaceuticals.
\n* In the chemical industry, it is used for the production of synthetic polymers, for example, polyurethane foams (foaming agent), foam rubber, synthetic fibers; plastic molds.
\n* For the production of chemical products derived from dichloromethane.
\n\u2022 As an industrial solvent for cleaning and degreasing metal surfaces; it is part of aerosol paints; for bonding acrylic glass and various plastics, excluding polyethylene and polypropylene; solvent of fats, resins, bitumen.
\n* In the food industry \u2014 solvent for extractions, for example, to obtain caffeine from coffee beans, hops.
\n* In pharmaceuticals for the manufacture of ascorbic acid.

\nA popular industrial solvent is an organic compound derived from methane. Mobile transparent liquid without color, volatile, with a characteristic sharp, sweet smell of ether. Slightly soluble in water. It is highly soluble in organic solvents. When dissolved in hot water, it is destroyed, decomposing into hydrochloric acid and formaldehyde. Low toxic compared to other solvents. It reacts with chlorine to produce chloroform. Reacts with other halogens: iodine, bromine. It interacts with alcoholic and aqueous solutions of ammonia. As a result of the reaction with aqueous ammonia, formic and hydrochloric acids and methylamine are obtained. It reacts with aromatic hydrocarbons, for example, with benzene.<\/p>\n
