Note: values are approximate; results depend on conditions and water quality.

Safe dilution procedure (recommended)

1. Preparation. Work in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from sparks/open flames. Wear protective gloves and safety goggles.

2. Water first (≈20%). Add about 20% of the final water volume to the container:

○ 200 L batch: ~40 L water

○ 1000 L batch: ~200 L water
This reduces splash risk and ensures the concentrate fits even when using a high number of cans.

3. Add concentrate into water. Pour in the required number of 25 L cans carefully.

4. Mixing. Mix 10–15 minutes (mixer or pump recirculation) until fully uniform.

5. Top up to the mark. Add water to 200 L / 1000 L and mix again for 2–3 minutes.

6. Check. Ensure the mixture is homogeneous (no layering) before use or filling.

Important information
Alcohol-based. Use in well-ventilated areas.
Follow the safety statements and hazard labelling on the packaging.

In common usage, salt is a mineral composed primarily of sodium chloride (NaCl). When used in food, especially in granulated form, it is more formally called table salt. In the form of a natural crystalline mineral, salt is also known as rock salt or halite.

Food rock salt (1,0-0,16 mm)
Physical properties:
Salt is mostly sodium chloride (NaCl). Sea salt and mined salt may contain trace elements. Mined salt is often refined. Salt crystals are translucent and cubic in shape; they normally appear white but impurities may give them a blue or purple tinge. When dissolved in water sodium chloride separates into Na+ and Cl− ions, and the solubility is 359 grams per litre. From cold solutions, salt crystallises as the dihydrate NaCl·2H2O. Solutions of sodium chloride have very different properties from those of pure water; the freezing point is −21.12 °C (−6.02 °F) for 23.31 wt% of salt, and the boiling point of saturated salt solution is around 108.7 °C (227.7 °F).

System Preparation: Flush the boat’s cooling system to remove any residual liquid, debris, or scale. Ensure the system is free from corrosion and zinc-containing parts.
Filling: For boats with open cooling systems, fill manually. For closed systems, use a pump to fill under pressure, ensuring complete coverage.
Leak Prevention: Due to its high wetting effect, ensure all connections are tightly sealed to prevent leaks, which can reduce system efficiency.
Start-up: In cold conditions, warm up the engine before starting to circulate the cooling liquid, reducing pump load.
This approach highlights the product’s specific application for boats, addressing the needs and conditions encountered in marine environments.

User manual:

Before using Master BIO™ coolants, the heating system must be completely cleaned of waste liquid. You should also remove old deposits and scales from the circuit, and eliminate corrosion traces.

The product is offered completely ready for use (there is no need to dilute or add anything to it), and it goes on sale in a sealed container. It is strongly recommended to store it in a cool place. Try to prevent direct sunlight from entering the container with the composition. This can lead to a deterioration in its properties, leveling out the positive characteristics of additional components and the main viscous substance – glycerin.

The heating system is filled by gravity, either manually or under pressure. The manual filling is applicable for open circuits. Coolant is pumped into closed heating systems under pressure using pumps.

It is important to ensure a good seal, since glycerine aqueous solutions, having a high wetting effect, can leak where water does not flow. If it leaks, the efficiency of the entire heating system decreases. If they are detected, it is necessary to pause the entire system’s operation and eliminate the malfunction.
Procedure in case of emergency shutdown of the heating system.
Solutions of glycerin and water at zero temperatures and below have a high level of viscosity. Therefore, if the system has cooled down, it is recommended to first turn on the heating elements themselves, and then start circulation. This will reduce the load on the pumps.

The service life of Master BIO™ coolants is at least 5 years. The price of the coolant depends on the concentration of the main base component. When ordering and purchasing it, it is necessary to consider the percentage of glycerol in the coolant brand. The temperature range in which the all-season low-freezing coolant will be in a working condition depends on this indicator.
